If you could start from today?

First off, there's no introduction forum, so... HI!

I'm in the market for a 3rd Gen. TL (Prefer a 6 speed... but the difficulty in locating)

Long story short is someone totaled out my my 98 Accord, was wanting to get a truck next year, but here we are, ladies (I know you're out there and gentlemen, if you could start all over, top to bottom, best bang for your buck mods.

While I'm not made of money, XLR8 exhaust w/ J-pipe has me floating, but I can mostly certainly be swayed.

Probably get a better response in the 3rd gen parts and performance section (I think there are about six of us that still have TLs that post in car talk) - but I am happy with my short throw (second time today mentioning it).

Thanks Ron, and Nick, it does sound awesome, but I want to know, if you could start all over again, top to bottom, run it down all over again, your bang for buck mods.

Hands down my xlr8 exhaust is my favorite. If i had to do it all over again. I wouldnt have waited 2 years to get my rims and coils. A drop is like the key to a good looking car. Ive never removed any mods so i regret nothing, besides the order i chose to purchase. Jpipe is supposed to give performance, but tbh i cant even remember if i felt a difference.

Thanks, I do loved the stanced look, nothing says drive like that, but my driveway kills the thought.

I fell in love with my car all over again after I bought the ATLP catback. It sounds great and the power bump was nice, especially after I added the j-pipe and race pipe.

Wheels and coilovers..hands down. Maybe I'm getting old but I enjoy how quiet the car is stock. After wheels and coilovers, brakes - pads, rotors, lines. I would consider doing an exhaust, j-pipe, and precats, but all that goes out the window once you go FI, and I can build an entire system for what all that would cost. Granted I'll need supporting fuel mods and tuning, but tuning should be done anyways.
