HELP: TL Brembo's on Base Model

Ok guys I need some quick help and advice.

I have the opportunity to pick up the TL Front Brembo Kit.

I need to know what type of mods or tweaks will be needed to fit this on my non Brembo base 3.2 TL.

Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There is other stuff that I can't remember, look it up. I know it is not a straight swap. One of the supercharged guys did the conversion.

Unless its a real deal at a super low price....I would recommend Rotora as its straight bolt on. You have to change out quite a few parts just to fit that brake kit....and IMO its no better than the Rotora kits available...or many other brands that are straight bolt on. Compare the pricing from Josh at Excelerate Performance on here on a Rotora kit in comparison to the cost of all the parts you have to replace to fit the OEM Brembo manual MT kit to the AT car. Thats what I would suggest.

Thanks for the link!

Does it make a BIG difference in overall stopping?
It seems to cost around $2000, and is a big job!

Do not pay $2000, try and find the parts used at a junk yard or something. I paid $500 initially for all the used parts and total came to around $700 I think when I was done I added stainless lines, bought new pads, plus some other stuff.

If you are going to buy it all new I would just buy a Rotora kit.

Oh and I think the Brembo's stop slightly better, its not that huge a difference. I did it mainly because they look so much better.

i also did the swap. braking power is pretty similar on low speed stops. you wont really notice the difference unless you constantly pounding on your brakes. this is when these brakes work at its best.fade resistant performance!!

if you want something easier and cheaper to install check out the black market. there is a set of stoptech BBK for sale
