I agree, especially with f/i. Mike Benz is working with a guy that knows alot about honda and acura, maybe he can say something to him and we can get something rolling with this.

Heard good things about the greddy e-manage ultimate....but definitely would require dyno time to optimize the performance features, a/f maps/ timing/speed gov/rev limiter/ vtec adj etc.

Everyone should start sending them emails telling them that we would like for them to design a chip. That way they will see that there is enough interest, so it will be worth it for them to design it.

Hondata already knows. Not sure how long it'll take, but there is something in development...this is all I can say at this time.

I am pretty sure Hondata will come out with something if there is enough interest.

Edit: just saw the post above mine.

My Acura dealership mach. told me. I could dump the program and all its parameters. To my PC. SAVE A COPY. Then tweak anything I wanted to. Then following procedure reload the ECU. And I'm good to go....

Can you say if it is going to exclusively for the TL's or are they going to include the7th gen accord as well?

i just think that if our speed limiter is taken off and the v tec is reduced our car will eat so many more cars i mean my car pushes strong to 150 with a gear left and it just cuts off from the ecu......i really think we can hit 175...180 maybe.....damn we need that hondata ecu

you're going to need a lot more power to make it worth hitting 175. plus there are aerodynamics factors involved. family sedan was never made to go 150 in the first place.

Haha! yeh that was funny...170 is gonna take some powaahh! the SC might get to 160 easier but 175 seems crazy..but would be cool. I hope some comes out with something though. This would definitely be great for the thread i started.

Not really sure about the 7th Gen Accord.

I think if it does come out, it may take a little longer than i orginally thought. However, at least the R&D is occuring.

Please understand, Hondata only comes out with products/programs that actually work, so if they can't improve it (HP), they won't sell it.

Also, the program will be for modified cars, not for stock. It may help to improve the performance if you have a C/E/Cats etc.
