crank pulley problem! help quick please

So I'm installing my UR crank pulley, stock size, and I can't get the pulley to slide on. It's almost like the bore is the wrong size! Anyone else have this issue, or have trouble getting it on.

From what I've read it supposedly slips right on, but mine wont at all, It goes on just barely enough to stay on the crank, but clearly isn't inserted fully.

Thoughts? Could I have been shipped the wrong pulley? Is there a difference between 3.2 vs. 3.5? Currently my car is still on stands and chillin...so any quick help would be much appreciated.

Sean

Who'd you get the pulley from?
Any part # visible on the pulley on the sides?

It fits 7th gen accord, 3rd gen tl, and I believe mdx and rl aswell

Glad you got it off that thing is a bitch

I'm not sure on the part number, I'm sure others can help. Assuming you have the right part, make sure the crank is as cold as you can get it and heat the pulley up real good and install with gloves.

OK. Got it on but it was kinda tricky. Things were too hot/expanded and so I tried to cool it all down and then I used a 2x4 and kinda hammered it on a bit. Got the job done.

Much thanks to Josh @ excelerate and the above posters for the tips/help.

edit: I hate cars...I actually did this today in my parents garage in bakersfield...not as temperate as SD! haha

Well I can't read your lat./long. stuff but if you're in SD or close by I'd be down to do it up. Its actually a pretty fun/easy install. Only trouble I had was getting the new pulley on and then tightening it up.

I have the pulley removal tool, that makes that one waayyyy easier than it'd be w/o it.

Just giving you a hard time [] with your quote about "I hate cars" there. I "hated" my old Altima a lot at times! (Frickin' valve cover!)

Seriously though, congrats on your successful install!

[Actually I'm in the Northern Virginia area. If you copy/paste the lat/long into Google Maps, it'll spot you on my geo]
