I'm in the market to get the ASPEC body kit for my 2004 TL. I asked my dealership for the parts and got a quote for $1300 and labor to install will be $330. That's total of $1630 before tax just for the body kit... now here is the question

1) Does anyone know a legit place where I can get the body kit cheaper? (I have WDP)
2) Where can i take it to get it installed?

I paid $1100 for the kit including the OEM lip spoiler from Curry Acura and did the install myself. No tax and free labor. Can't beat that! The $600 I saved was applied to the A-spec suspension which I am also installing. It's like a free suspension thrown in for the price you would pay !

I paid $800 from Acura of Escondido on Ebay. Another $300 to have my dealer put it on.

 

800 shipped?? their price on ebay is 819 plus 75 shipping. when did you get it, and how did you manage to get it that low?

 

I Went To Open ROAd Acura Of Wayne And Got My Kit For 830 Including Tax .. And Had A Friend Install It. i NEGOTIATED THE PRICE DOWN FROM 1100 BY TELLING THEM I CAN GET IT CHEAPER ON EBAY

 

I can get the kit for $724 plus tax.

 

Actually, it was $850 shipped. Got it a couple weeks ago. I also bought the suspension from them so maybe they cut me a little break...

Ground effects plus rear spoiler installed costed me $2500. the dealer told me that it would have been $6500 with the A-spec suspension. What are some good suspensions for the "04 TL?

get suspension better than the original a-spec Falcon Acura Tl Only drops the car .5" both F&R . .. Think on the Eibach Pro kit suspension for the Accord copue 03 , fits the 04-05 tl

 

that depends on what you want done with the car. if you want it dropped then go with the tein ss but if you just want improved handling capabilities then i would opt for the aspec suspension. its a great price and the difference is pretty much night and day.

 

$6500.00 from a dealership sounds about right. Where I bought, they were charging $6750.00 for the full A-Spec.

 

It's rediculous how bad the sales rep at the parts department is at sussman Acura dealership. When I called him for a quote for the ASPEC body kit, his response was "ASPEC what's that? let me look it up.. oh it's the same as regular body kit" i'm like "NO, they look completely different, but that's not the point, the point is how much can you sell it to me for? i got a quote from Open Road Acura of Waynes for $925"
the parts guy is responded "$1250, i would take it "

Full ASPEC here is $5k. What sucks is they won't sell me just the coilovers for the suspension...have to buy the "ASPEC suspension" (coilovers, Brembo's, wheels). Supposed to be a dealer with an eBay store selling just the coilovers for $600 plus shipping to AZ members...going to check that out one of these days. Dealer wanted $500 to install the coilovers...guess I'm going to have to try to DIY...that should be interesting...
