ATLP J-Pipe Dyno

ATLP J-Pipe Dyno
I'm pretty satisfied with the results.
Blue line is with just the ATLP Quad Exhaust system.
Red line is with the ATLP J-pipe and the ATLP Exhaust.
We allowed the car to cool down to normal temperature between both runs to maintain consistency as much as possible. Pretty much all of the runs were within 1-2 hp/tq of variation within each other.
These were all 4th gear runs, 6-speed Manual 2006 Acura TL Base.
Mods: Factory intake resonator delete, ATLP J-pipe, and ATLP Cat-back.
Taking deposits now.Once we hit 15 deposits, production will begin immediately.

Currently already have 4 deposits. Let's do it!
Gotta run to class now, I'll be back tonight!

I never mentioned this but to anyone not sold on how easy this stuff is to install the guy who did my exhaust wanted a $100 but after gave me $50 back because he felt bad because the kit was a perfect fit.

because its the same pipe for both the cars, as is the cats (except for cell density) everybody was so concerned with back pressure issues, but if Mike mastered it for the regular TL, a more powerful engine of similar design, will also use it to its advantage
as soon as this gets to my door, i promise a before & after dyno.. me and Al (stillhere) are gonna tear up the local dyno one day... you'll see two 5AT TL-S pushing over 270whp 250tq =)

I havn't been following on the ATLP exhaust that closely but very interested...
Just a quick nooby question if someones not afraid to answer
Will the ATLP quad and this J-Pipe fit an 'o4 TL [Dynamic]?
If so... whats the total cost would the ATLP quad and J-Pipe go for?

Thanks guys.
Sorry for the late response. Late class + errands + personal issues all consume my free time.
Anyway, I'll be contacting a few of the ATLP OG's with the TL-S' to see about the dyno runs for the TL-S. I'll try to find someone soon, in order to keep the variables within the same proximity of the original dyno, but that's always hard when it's not in a controlled environment.
In response to some of the questions:
Discount for ATLP Members: Yes, you will receive $30 of the MSRP! Thank you for your support! Without you, this would never be possible. New projects for the TL are already being planned! (chassis/air induction)
Here is a current list:
1. BLACKURA_NY
2. Kennedy
3. ib18c1
4. Kosstick
5. Mary T.
6. Evan O.
7. bent09
8. Fulani has a TL
9. William O.
Turn around time is looking like 4 weeks-ish!
Sounds: I did notice a slight increase in "tone". It provided an added depth in that exotic-tone that you ever so slightly pick up from the ATLP exhaust. I had it compared side to side with ib18c1 and it's a lot more noticeable when your actually driving.
Power: I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I didn't expect this much of a gain, but then again that is because the j-pipe helped improve the power curve to a much smoother flow compared to the factory pipe. The gains didn't seem as "in your face -rugged", but it will definitely start creeping up to you within a few hours of driving.
Let's get these produced!

This is a prototype piece, but the main welds will still be there since it's a very complex piece. Having an equal length pipe without sharp interferences from bends, all while keeping in mind ground clearance and vehicle clearance usually does not yield a simple fabrication.
This does not replace any cats, just the j-pipe. We are also working on cats.
