I'm about to purchase the a-spec kit for my o4 TL from Hondacuraworld and will eventually get the J-Pipe and the ATLP Quads.
Was there anything else I needed to make these fit?

Do not order the 04-06 rear aspec. It will not fit the quads.
You need the tls aspec rear unless your car is antherite color. In that case you need to order a unpainted tls bumper and take it somewhere for painting.

So in any case I should get the 04-06 front and side aspec.. with the type-s rear bumper and 07 aspec?

If you want quads:
You have to install the 2007 TL-S rear lip on your 2004 bumper with some dremeling modifications... here's agreat write up on how to do that:

Depending on what color you drive, you MAY have to have that rear lip custom painted, as anthracite and green were discontinued, and you can't buy the 2007 lip painted a discontinued color.
If you CHOOSE not to hack up your rear bumper, you may certainly BUY and PAINT a 2007 TL-S bumper - but that's over $500 alone. You can have quads then. Add anothe $300+ for the lip, if you want that too.

Heat shield?
This looks interesting and should free up a significant torque across the rpm range but I was wondering if are you going to incorporate any heat shielding on this pipe?
The stock pipe has some shielding, plus it's a double wall design.
Looking at the oil pan proximity it looks like the oil is exposed to high temp from the exhaust May be some stick on heat shield film on the pan itself might help, that's what the Spoon Sports team use.

We just finished tuning the resonated ATLP Exhaust, and the first user forwarded me some great feedback and it seems that its a perfect part for those who have angry wifes.

We are still accepting deposits for the 1st batch. If you would like to take advantage of the introduction price, but can't make the remainder of the payment this month please include a special note in your checkout. I'll extend the remainder balance dues up to 1 month after the completion of the j-pipe (ETA: 4 weeks).
