Gains should be still the same as it's derived from the same engine. It's just that the automatic transmission seems to suck up that power before finally delivering it to the wheels. It will still yield gains, but there will always be that consistent gap between 5AT/6MT.

And those heavy wheels aren't helping much either.

question i forgot to ask, is this going to make my car loud? I want performance but not a loud car, parents will say im becoming one of my cousins....with the big exhaust in the back with loud noise....is there a silencer for it if it gets loud? I want to be like the silent killer, quiet but when up to battle, kill everything =) (if possible) thx bros.. sry for being such a noob

the richie j pipe looks nice... but ATLP design looks like it flows better / less restrictive.. and mike's piping seems to be more equal length

You know, looking at that J-Shift pipe, it doesn't look as good as the ATLP. I'm sure it's better than stock (it'd be hard not to be), but it doesn't look like it will be as open flowing at the ATLP.

Plus, it needs teepee.

i don't have aftermarket exhaust system and will never do in the future. but i'm still buying the J-Pipe
because by looking at the dyno result, it should have gains even with stock exhaust system (hp/tq gain is similar to cars with aftermarket headers)

We are still looking at around 4-5 weeks. There were a few minor clearance issues we had to get resolved so that it the pipe won't run into any longevity problems especially around the oil pan.

I'm putting it on with the factory exhaust. I've no real intentions of doing a catback. I expect to see decent gains anyway.

I have been thinking about making a better Y-pipe weld-in for the split ahead of the rear mufflers, though... That's the other "pinch point" I see in the system.

P.S. Not liking the way the J-shift pipe comes together at the 2->1 point.

1st Batch J-pipe CLOSED!

Information: All pre-orders/orders for the ATLP J-pipe after 03/02/08 will be for the 2nd Batch. First batch of ATLP J-pipes is full.

1st Batch information:
In order to gain a bit more clearance for those with lowered cars and also to minimize any heat problems near the oil pan we may incorporate using an oval pipe diameter around the oil pan area. This will retain the same flow characteristics and size as the original design.

After testing this prototype to make sure everything clears without longevity issues or heat problems, they will start being produced! We are looking at 4-5 weeks of production time.

Once they are all ready to ship, everyone will be notified via e-mail/phone with the remainder balance information. J-Pipes will be shipped out based on when the remainder of the balance is paid. If it isn't paid of within 2 weeks of J-pipe finish date, it will be shipped out to the first person on Batch 2 (unless otherwise agreed for those who needed an extension).

*Those who are on the first batch of the ATLP Quad Exhausts will have a remainder invoice that reflects a $30 discount. Thank you.

*Those who paid in full will not receive an invoice. A tracking number will be sent to you once they are shipped.

2nd Batch information:
These will be produced one we reach 20 units. ETA once the 20 units are reached is 3-4 weeks.
