07 types 5at 1/4 mile

Was finally able to get into the 13,s! 13.8@101 was surprised to hit this number all I really wanted was a13.9.
FBO + dom tune. the tune that dom creates adds massive power to low/midrange. Actually had to use drag radials to achieve this.
on street tires it will just blow the tires. I do believe the car has more in it. I’ve ran a 14.1 @103 without a tune so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

IDK? More torque less horsepower, perhaps?

Thats actually a really good time for an auto car. I have a 6mt and ran 13.9 @ 101 a couple weeks ago. What are all your mods?

Aem v2 (w 4” velocity stack)
pcd
xlr8 j pipe
xlr8 exhaust
3.7 intake man/TB
ported lower runners P2r
1/2inch plenum spacer + TB spacer
underdrive lightweight pulley
Hondata dom tune.
and Hoosier 225-45-17 drag radials.
it runs phenomenal, it holds its own quite well at the track vs ALOT of cars. Even does well vs my FBO 350z de but the 5at is where it’s down fall is.
the de PB on street tires 13.3@107.6.

Not a lot of people drag race these cars so it's cool to see someone do it and use drag radials too. What was the 60 ft? I have a 4in cai, IM spacer, PCDs, Jpipe, stock catback, and no tune. I ran my 13.9 on street tires 2.11 60ft. Probably won't ever go to the track again but was just curious to what it would do

60ft 2.14
330 5.87
1/8 8.96 @ 79.85 mph
1/4 13.86 @101.42
near full weight only spare removed. There is actually another map that dom made, I had noticed that the timing was a tad low (24 or 25 at vtech) so he upped it a bit plus whatever magic he does. The track had closed so I didn’t get a chanse to test in same weather conditions, but from memory it seems to run better with less timing, I will confirm this Friday. Weather will be in high 40s. I was honestly shocked with the 13.8, completely blown away. The only thing that still bugs me is that the car has gone 103 mph before. Slower et tho. Strangely it did that with the stock type s intake/TB. I’m waiting on a TB I sent out to maxbore. I’ll test that with current maps, see if it helps (track) and data log see if it changes tune a lot. At this point there is literally nothing else I can do lol, then im
going for some weight reduction. Nothing drastic, I got another type s spare on the way that I’ll use for rears. Also have a lithium battery I could drop in. So mats, battery, wheels I’m guessing 110-120 reduction,? I feel she has a 13.7 AS IS.
and 13.5 reducing wieght. I’ll take some pointers

Drag racing is all in the first 60ft, so anything you can do to make that faster you'll have a faster ET. You have an auto so not sure how much the stock converter will let you rev. My friend who has an auto Cl will neutral drop his but obviously I don't suggest that. Honestly if I were you I'd be happy with a 13 second pass and just have fun on the street. My project car is a 90 foxbody so that's my strip/street car

The stall in converter won’t go any higher than 2100 . Imagine they make/sell A higher stall but I don’t want to mess with the oem quality of the transmission. It’s still a daily driver. For what it I’m extremely happy it has achieved that ET. I’ll keep posting the progress (if any lol) going forward

So usually everyone bashes the auto but if they made a stronger one then you added boost to the equation the car would be a lot more efficient than a manual. Boost and an auto is just awesome. I'm sure your trans could hold up to a rotrex supercharger or a turbo with low boost. Just sayin haha

Higher stall will definitely get you off the line quicker especially on slicks. On the street you won't really notice it unless you get crazy. 2800 stall in my Chevelle, made it noticeably quicker out of the hole if I got on it. Driving normally, didn't notice it. 4000 stall though, yeah, incredible from a stop or 5 mph roll but would feel sluggish just tooling around in traffic.

A stall convertor in my truck gave .05 faster ET. From 14.7 to best of 14.2. I think that would be very impressive if I could get a 5at car to a 13.3-4. Flash stall vs foot brake stall, the foot brake is what gets the quicker et. Isn’t the oem stall like 2500 already ???? Is the computer limiting it going any higher? Even if I got a giver stall convertor would I be able to stall it higher anyway ?

and where would I get one lol
