Are the TL and tsx stock amp the same. I'm asking because there's a few mercman harness for sale and it says for an 07 tsx but wanted to know if it would fit on my 05 TL. If not what options do I have.

No, they are not the same. The TSX amp is a 360 watt, stereo, 8 speaker sound system. The TL amp is a discrete 5.1 surround sound, DVD-A capable, that has 8 speaker sound system, including center channel and subwoofer. Unfortunately, they are not interchangeable.

The TSX amp is a downgrade from the TL amp, unless you like really, really loud music.
