Im looking for a power wire in the trunk area that is always "hot" when the car is on. Something like the "green" wire for the windshield wipers. Anything?

 

Turn the key to on, then start taking your light tester to wires

 

If you have Navi, there must be a hot wire back there for that. What is it your trying to do back there?

 

No navi. I need a hot wire for my methanol controller.

But after drawing out my diagram I realized that I dont need a hot wire for my meth pump in the trunk. The hot wire needs to goto the controller which will be mounted in the engine bay. So I dont need anything from the trunk area. Thanks anyway

Thanks guys. I have one day (tomorrow) to install the entire meth kit. If I have the time then Ill be making a DIY. If not, then plenty of pics

Everything is pretty much done. I didnt make a DIY, but I will take a hole bunch of pictures. I just need to run the tubing from the trunk mounted pump under the car and into the engine bay

 

So what is this thing for?

Actually, I just dropped the car with him this morning and he is building as we speak. Tune is on saturday

 

Nice! Where is it being done? Is the dyno in the same shop?

 

Theres a shop in new jersey (A&G auto) that rodney used to work at when he lived there. I just dropped the car off this morning and he said it would be done tomorrow night (assuming no major issues)

About 30 minutes away is the dyno. I believe its CLM motorsports. We are going there saturday.
