suggestions on rear speakers (low wattage)

Hi guys,

I am upgrading amps, sorta not really =P the new amp supplies 25W x2 RMS to the rears. It is a JL amp, so hopefully its under rated 25W. However I am stumped as to what I should put in the rears. This is almost the stock amp wattage if not lower. Does any have good reviews of rear speakers, the 6.5s, with the stock amp or know of a model that has good efficiency but runs well with 25W?

I have looked a quiet a few speakers, I am sorta down to:
Diamond Audio M361I
* Sensitivity: 90 dB
* RMS Power Range : 50 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 100 Watts
* Impedance: 4 Ohm
* Frequency response: 50-20000 Hz

MB Quart DSG 216
* RMS Power Range : 50 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 120 Watts
* Frequency response: 40-32000 Hz
* Diameter: 6.5 Inch

Rockford Fosgate P162S (these look awesome lol)
* Sensitivity: 88 dB
* RMS Power Range : 60 Watts
* Peak Power Handling: 120 Watts
* Frequency response: 60-22000 Hz
* Diameter: 6.5 Inch

since i am at it, can anyone recommend some good front door speakers? running 100W, looking for a bit more bass than the stocks.

Thanks guys!

The Image Dynamics CTX65CS components have amazing bass. They literally have more bass than the stock sub did and sound quality is good too.

That JL amp probably puts out considerably more than the stock amp even if the ratings are the same. Stock is probably rated in peak values anyway.

Are you running the Image Dynamics in the rear or the front? It looks like these would fit better in the front, feeding them 100W. They definitely pull some nice reviews! Thanks for the heads up, I add these to the list for the fronts =D

Mine are in the front. I can't update my signature but the Infinities are long gone.

I am still in awe at how much bass comes from these little speakers. I'm not exaggerating, it's more bass than the stock sub. I also prefer the slik dome tweeters that come with them. I can crank them and they're not painful like the Infinities were, even at higher volumes.

Are you running the stock HU? I've seen a couple of threads where you state these are good, you got me thinking.

I'm running one of the JL 6 channel amps. I didn't believe in speaker break-in until now. When I first replaced the Infinities with these, they were only marginally better in bass. Now, they are in a whole different league after a month of use.

I'm running them crossed over at 60hz and they play it fine. Even when I had them running full frequency they sounded fine but I didn't want to push my luck. To run the same volume levels with the Infinities, I had to cross them over at 100hz to keep them from bottoming out.

I haven't found a single bad review of them yet.

Yeah that's what I mean. I wanted to see if you guys upgraded your radio too to get the sound quality you guys were amazed with.

Stock head unit. Not too many people upgrade. I'm not familiar with the events but I know people have won SQ oriented events with the stock HU.

NO REAR FILL!!!! but if you must...

I would recommend the JL TR's for a few reasons..

a - inexpensive
b - soft dome tweeter...as not to attract your attention to the rear
c - drop in installation
d - very power effecient
