Problems with new alarm install

I just got an alarm installed in my new (two week old) TL and the heater has stopped working. Has anyone experienced this or know what may have caused this? I'm bringing it back to the place I had install the alarm tomorrow but I was wanting to have an idea for what they should look for. (Splice into the wrong wire?) I took it to Acura today and they told me if the alarm caused it then they would charge me the diagostic fees and what ever it cost to fix. It just started getting cold here and I'm freezing on my way to work.

They could have disconnected a wire in the process? or like you said , tapped in the wrong wire.
