I got the update disc last year,now the navi is bad bad wrong. I know i need to go east its saying to go west!plus its just gives really bad directions!! Anyone help! Its the fist time i got and update and figures its p o s!!!

Found this thread doing a Google search. I've got an 08 MDX, but it also uses the White discs. Everywhere else, people are saying it's not possible to patch 4.B1 and 4.C0 bin files to work on a burned disc, this is the only post saying it's possible. Can anyone confirm? I burned a 4.A2 and had to replace a couple of the .bin files with patched versions, but couldn't find patched versions of 4.C0 bin files. When I look at 09Jog2.bin from 4.A2 in a hex editor, it looks like a standard CE file, but the same file from 4.C0 has no recognizable header or ASCII strings in it whatsoever, leading me to believe it's encrypted somehow.

Is it possible to patch out the OK button on 4.A2 (or newer)? The version of DumpNavi GUI in the OP doesn't work with 4.A2 bin files. The Improved DumpNavi download link is broken, but I found and compiled the source from here: https://github.com/ryangardner/dumpnavi using VS.NET 2010. The bysin.exe file seems to work, but I don't understand the command-line syntax required to patch out the OK button.

I stated that changing the startup/splash screen is possible. That's pretty much all you can do with the white disc. There is no "OK Button" bypass fix for white disc (as far as I know), just the orange one.

Ok, I think I get it. I was confused because I thought to change the startup/splash screen, you had to make a whole new nav DVD and keep it in there. Just now occurred to me it's possible to just make a temp disc to flash it and then put the original DVD back in there making hacked bin files unnecessary.

Does anyone know if a Car Audio place could hack the nav system? I'd like to do away with the start up screen/delay. I would also love to watch movies (if possible). I don't have a computer or the computer knowledge to make this happen. Is anyone in the Atlanta/Macon area that can do this for me?

So i just bought a 2007 type s and i would like to do some nav hacks but it seems all of the links are broken. Is there anyone that has hard copies they could send out? Also, being new i'm trying to figure out if the trip computer in the nav is a hack or on one of the update disks. I'm running the 2007 oem nav version.

Sucks, and I'm assuming that there's no one working on this anymore.

I saw something about burning a white navi disc(07/08) and that working... any help/proof/thread for that?
