Navi playing movies
I would like yo install the DVD Kit to play DVD Movies in my TL's Navigation. Will it void my warranty? Don't want the warranty void if I get the kit installed. It would be so kool if I can watch movies on my Navi screen. Thanks

no it doesnt void warranty vsokolov's unit uses no relays therefore its 100% save for the navigation unit. His unit is in second year of production and no navi's have ever been broken. His site is almost up at www.naviplus.tv for now go to www.fotki.com/vsokolov to check out his units prices are the best easy install buy the unit and a audivox dvd all for 400 plus shipping very cool give him a call 718-909-2192.

Yes, and no to the warranty issue. If you start experiencing electrical problems or problems with the navi that the DEALER can PROVE were directly the cause of the dvd player mod you do...then your warranty is void..
Here is my suggestion: shell out the money and buy the unit from www.avelectronic.com
Install it as they reccoment (very simple, pretty much plug and play)
Run the power wires directly to your fusebox (by drivers feet) and use an "add a circuit" unit that you can buy from any electronics store... there are two empty fuse slots which are labeled IG OP1 and IG OP2 (I think thats how they are labeled).
If you end up having problems with the nav or anything, pull the avelectronic unit out... this install requires NO cutting or splicing into any wires... so you are safe... pull it out before going to the dealer for problems related to the nav..
I had the avelectronic unit in my TSX and it worked great. I never had a problem.

You can do it yourself if you have basic knowledge of car installs...otherwise any REPUTABLE car stereo place can do it...
circuit city if you cant find anybody else... if theyf uck up something, they will pay for the repairs...unlike a small shop they can close up and run
