someone please make something for my new TL I just bought. There is one on the 1st page with this picture, but I want to combine both in one, and I hate the "DRIVE ME" of the other. Just a simple background with the acura symbol and TL Navigation under it.
Please if one of you photoshop gurus could make something classy with these 2 shots, that's be awesome!

btw, i have the 2006 navi TL with a-spec lip kit, do what you think is best and let me know if there are any different instructions I need to get this done for my year's model.

How do you convert these .png and .jpg files into .bmp files that actually work on the nav screen? Every time I try to rename the file or save it as a .bmp instead of its original file type I just get a black screen when the navigation loads and no picture at all. The only ones that have worked for me have been the pictures that were posted as .bmp files that I didn't have to convert at all. How do I get all the other ones to show up on the nav screen instead of just a black screen?
If it's too difficult to explain can someone who got it to work convert the 2nd and 7th images in Datmrman's post (the first post of images in this thread - the bunch of .png files) convert them to .bmp and post/send them to me?

I just decided to hack my navi by changing the wallpaper but have ran into similar problems with some people. I'm getting that 4 second delay before the picture shows up after turning on the car! I've made sure the picture is in spec and the correct size but after numerous tries the picture still lags.
I'm using this picture posted by kennyc because he said this picture was perfectly spec'd.
But still, I get the 4 second delay before the picture pops up. What gives?!?

Hey guys,
I've been creating a few of my own splash screens (using Paint) but everytime I convert to 256 BMP it always changes the quality... I was just wondering how you guys managed to keep the original colors and keep the picture as sharp as it looks?
any suggestions?

I realized my Dell came with Adobe Photoshop Elements >.<
I'll be trying to mess around with this software to work with these images. I got it doing indexed bmp's (Thanks for the suggestion Buda)

Hey everyone,
Sorry about spamming constantly, and my last few images being unlinked, I added a few images (per Buda's instructions) and they now work perfectly. I can suggest opening the pictures up on Paint and adding words to them, I'm working on trying to figure out PS so that the words don't come out digitized... but this is what I have so far:
