Navi Hack BMP's (Images)
Can someone photoshop this picture for me?
And could you add the words "Welcome B-Ry" Centered below the alabama crimson tide words. I believe the picture can be no larger than 480x234 to fit the nav screen. Do this have to be a bmp to display on the nav screen? This is for my son so we both thank you...
Thanks,
Jeff

does anyone have this one and if so can you PLEASE post it
does the navi hack still allow the navi to go in standby mode. i.e. when you don't hit the "ok" button with the warnings etc when first starting the car the navi screen is just offline/blacked out screen. i like this feature.. i know the navi hack gets rid of the ok button but will it still go in standby mode?
Use the DumpNavi program.
You will have to resize your BMP file to the correct dimensions first. Then run DumpNavi and replace the startup file with the new one. make sure you uncheck the box to remove the OK button or you will get an error.

Start with any image file you want to use. You can use pretty much any photo editor you want to modify the image (add text, change colors, etc)---I use PhotoShop Elements, but you can also use MS Paint.
Complete instructions for resizing and compressing the file are in this thread somewhere, but the file has to be 480X234, 16bit (for White Navi), Indexed.
