IPOD Menu on Navi Screen
IPOD Menu on Navi Screen
OK so I hooked up my Video Ipod to my navi screen so that I dont have to carry around a bunch of DVDs. But now I want my IPODs menu to feed out, right now the only feed that the ipod will do is once the video starts. Does anyone know how to feed the ipod's menu options to an external monitor?

Apple really should update the video ipod firmware so that song info, etc is piped out via the earphone jack. The way they have it currently only photos and videos work.
I know somebody on this board did that and had it working fine....but not sure...it may not have been a video ipod? But it definately was an ipod and they had the menu right on the screen...even had a screen shot of it.

ok since the company that makes this ilink is local to me I called them and I was told they couldnt sell it directly to me. They game me a number to a local dealer, I called them and they wanted $400
So I called the audio shop that hooked up my dvd system and was told they would get it for me. The cost will be $100 and I should be able to pick it up either today or Monday at the latest. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
