give you a reason to try and tweak or play with the settings of the TL audio system (it would take more than just some ports obviously)...

connect a video camera and run the picture to your nav screen (for whatever reason)...

put in a 200gb hard drive and load it up with movies and music which could be transferred via usb 2.0 from your laptop or whatever...you'd also have to hook up the hard drive to a CarPC or something...

umm...you could charge your ipod via the usb port while on the go...

that's all i've got for now...

haha..yes i do all of my own mods, including paint.
i actually wasnt a forum member when i did this,it was almost 9 months ago that i did this,i never used to be a forum kind of guy but now i am literally on here all day, since at the moment i am a stay-at-home-father.

pretty much i had to tear the console apart, use my cig lighter wire for power, dremel the holes and bolt the block up,run the wires for my PS2 to the glove box from the center console, along with the wires from the usa spec hon2y from the sterio,so now anything i plug into the block can be seen on the screen, heard thru the speakers,or simply charge my phone thru the block without a cig lighter plug. as u can see in the pic the RCA wires comming out of the bottom of the center is my PS2 wires,so i dont always have to use it.

i got it from a sterio shop, what u dont see in the pic is the power converter i had to run under the passenger seat, which i will also take pics of next time, its pretty small, about 8 inches by 4inches,it all comes as a unit, made by a company called MICRO.
i took my time with the install so it wouldnt look like crap..i take pride in my mods,i like having things done to my car that people not only dont have, but doing it right.

here is a link for a power inverter SIMILAR to mine, not the same product, and alot cheaper than mine was so i couldnt say how well it would work,so be careful of buying this product..i just googled power inverters for game systems and it popped up with this one.

http://www.xovision.com/products.php...er%20Inverters

PS i forgot to add, that i also had to DELETE the sliding door for the cup holders to make room inside the console, but u would never know it was supposed to have one because of the way it was built.

didnt have much choice at all for placement of the power supply.

its hard to see in this pic but i am holding the ipod cable that runs thru the compartment.

no cupholder door..i do my best to keep it clean in there but its a pain in the ass!

and the tvandnavtogo,i didnt take too much time mounting it cause i didnt care as long as it wasnt in the way or visable.

because on the inside of the center console when u push it back,it rolls, kinda like a garage door, and for the wires to run straight and not get kinked (and short out)
i had to remove it.
