Help-Navi resetting while driving

So, today as i was driving I noticed that my navi display would keep resetting. within a 10 minute drive it reset about 4 times. This didn't affect the music or anything but, is a little annoying.
Has anybody experienced this before or know of a solution?

Thanks in advance

Usually its a scratched navi disk. Check it for scratches. If none are present, its the dvd unit that's skipping. Replacement is covered under warranty.

Your car doesn't have a Lifetime warrany. Not sure about the disc. Also, try cleaning the disc. Hope it's not the Navi itself.

do you have an ADD a CIRCUIT type a thing on your fuse box??? I would check for that first.... it seems like the navigation drive electrical circuit is losing power...

i had somewhat of a similar thing happen with my navi ... what would happen is it would be working fine, and then it would say dvd disc error, consult your dealer, so I did ... the dealer told me that it was the actual drive was scratching the disks, so they replaced my nav, and they even gave me a new disk

I just upgraded my 2004 NAVI DVD for the first time ever to the orange 2012 v3.B0. Worked fine for a couple weeks but now it resets while driving. Only during planned trips however. Disk looks fine no scratches. I don't know what to do. Dealer said its 499 to send out to repair plus labor. Any suggestions?
