I just installed the Dice Ipod Module in my 07 Type S. First let me say that I have used the Dice product in my previous car. This one works even better than I remember. I disconnected my XM so I could get text on my Nav screen. It is flawless. The install was not too difficult, but I did have one question so I called Nick @ Dice. He walked me through the whole process. I would say I was one the phone with him for at least 30 minutes. Very professional and informative.

I would recommended this product to anybody that is looking for a way to hookup their Ipod to the factory system. By the way who ever setup the group buy for this product, Thank you!!

On another note. When I was on the phone with Nick he informed me he was banned from this forum. I was very surprised. He was very helpful and professional with me.

 

I also just had my Dice kit installed. I went the other way and used the CDC for connection so I could keep XM. This thing works really well. Shound is good and the moving tracks up and down is instant. So far so good.

Strange that Nick would be banned. He helped out a lot.

I got the DICE unit installed as well on my 06 TL. So far its been a couple of days and no problems so far, works great. I am using it in SAT mode and so got my XM unplugged, which is ok since I wasn't using it anyway. The text feature is very cool.

 

I am not cheap or anything but I do find it gay to control the ipod via the navi cuz then you gotta switch from screen to screen, I like looking at the green line letting me know there isn't traffic ahead rather than focusing on wat songs playing...

How do you find it "Gay" What an asinine statement! I don't need to switch between screens. I get test on the display just right of my clock as well as the Nav screen. I can change songs two different ways. Steering wheel control and the tuner knob on the stereo. The song pauses if I get a phone call. The Dice unit also charges the Ipod and turns off when I turn the car off. I can do all of this with my Ipod center console. My Aux input is being used for my DVD Nav 2 Go.

Levelpar...I have an 06 TL with NAV and XM that I use...what is the exact name of the DICE part to order so I can connect my IPOD to the stock radio and still use my XM? I'm new to this so I'm in the dark...I appreciate any information you can supply.

I bought it from Autotoys. There was a group buy setup on this Web site. The model you need is the i-Honda-R4 .

If you keep your XM hooked up you will not have text. I don't beleive there is an Ipod module that will give you text and XM.
