Bluetooth music using cassette adapter

Hey guys,

I was wondering what if we add bluetooth receiving capability to a cassette adapter then just use it. When i was researching about this i found this article where they use a wireless headphone circuit and put it inside a cassette adapter to get this to work. Link below,

I think it will degrade quality too much. Have you looked up a bluetooth adaptor for the aux in the center console? There is power and the aux hook up inside in 1 place so it could be completely hidden.

Just google bluetooth aux.

Also, I was looking to phone apps that will transmit audio to mono bluetooth devices. I came a across a few. Most of them will play the music, but quality is very poor. Im about to head out and give this app a try.

Can't go wrong with using something old & trusty & making it newer it's a pretty basic concept if you think about it...don't think you'd be able to get the headset for under $5 or be able to just go it in soo easily?...I'll probably end up giving it a shot when I get a chance; thanks...

The cassette bluetooth is pretty bad as well.

Have you tried looking at the grom bt3?? Although more expensive then the cassette option it lets you play A2DP audio through your stereo and works with the steering wheel controls. I have an 05 as well and thats what I use, works flawless.

I'm confused about the BT3 idea, so arent BT3s wireless speakers? Or is it something else?

That looks like the adapter to the Grom Audio BT3 and that was what I was referring to, sorry for the confusion.

That ebay post doesn't seem to have the actual unit with it. You can look at gromaudio.com for the full kit.

In answer that is what I use on a daily basis and it works great!

Sweet, I think I'm gonna use one of these too. I was thinking to plug this in and then somehow plugin a bluetooth receiver to this. Everything should be awesome after that
