phone doesn't detect the 2006 tl hfl and the hfl doesn't detect the phone.

is there some kind of diagnostic?

sounds like the recommendations are to 1) bake in the hfl in the oven (free) or 2) replace the unit ($200 or so).

Mine just went out earlier this week. I'd just buy a new unit rather than the baking method as that just a temporary fix. I plan to just order a new one and replace the module myself since the HFL doesnt even turn on anymore let alone link my phone.

Sad because I use it a lot and now I have to use my tape adapter to hear calls well listening to music.

 

i'll probably just use the speakerphone like the rest of the world.

i had the same problem.. my HFL didnt recognize my Cellphone and my cellphone was paired the day before it went down... the unit cost like 190.. my suggestions is to buy a new one... the baking thing only works for 1 or 2 weeks..
