Add DVD player for 2007 Type-S

I searched and found all the info to add a DVD player to my 2007 TL Type-S So I can view DVD's through the NAV screen. But I cant open any of the links to see what I need. I see all the info with no way to view and see how it works and what I need. Crutchfield had a Soundstream DVD player for $99 . Thankyou very much for any info.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays & Joyful New Year

You will need to buy 2 things.

a video module
a audio module

video module is like doms nav2go
audio module like dice or isimple

100$ for a dvd player is steep these days. you can get blu ray playeres for that price.
arent dvd players like 20$ now?

The DVD player in my TL has barely been used, I used to use IPHONE Mirroring on my screen after I got rid of the carputer setup. IMO you should just buy the cord to input an Iphone/ipod video into the video & audio adapter and call it a day.

Awesome guitarplayer 16
Thankyou much. So what do I need for the audio ?
I read what I need, buy where do I purchase the
audio parts needed ? Your awesome bro !!!

Oops. I see that audio adapter.
Are the instructions for the 2 things I need pretty
Good for self-install ??
Is this all I need, besides a basic DVD player ?
I plan on putting the DVD player in the glove box.
Thankyou much again

I found a Soundstream DVD player at Crutchfield for $99.
Not sure about a mobile Bluray DVD player. I will do a search.

What he means to say is that most of us tend to use digital and streamable media nowadays instead of physical DVDs. I also have a very old thread of my install (it sucks that the picture links are all dead now) I managed to squeeze a DVD player directly in the center console with operational lid to hide it away. It looked as if it came factory that way and got in the way of nothing else. I reverted and took it all out because I hardly used it either. I preferred a video hookup via my iphone. Now I can watch Netflix, YouTube, movies or anything else from off my phone mirrored on the nav screen and headrest LCDs. It's a better setup than doing a DVD player.

Yes, except to get audio you'll have to splice into the XM receiver portion.

awesome, thanks guys.

really considering this but for $350+ in parts alone i'm wondering if there's a semi-comparable aftermarket replacement...

also, looks like that video interface has the ability to add a rear cam
anyone have any suggestions on a good cam...& is it even compatible with mine?
