3G Navi system shot?

Went to the dealer for an oil change and brake fluid change. After service, pick up car and NAVI no longer works. Screen only shows the ACURA Navigation screen, and then will blink off for a second and reappear. It has been a week with no NAVI or radio control on touchscreen. Took back to dealer and they tried to reset it, didn;t work. Service manager says there still may be a place in California that may be able to fix it.

Anybodu have some thoughts to help me?

THANKS!

So you went to an Acura dealer for an oil change, and as soon as you got the car back there was a problem with the nav?

Sounds to me like you should be at that dealer talking to the service manager and causing a shitstorm till they fix what they broke

There is a thread about the navigation control unit failing, it happens to a lot of them apparently, mine included...

Wait, you went to the dealer for a maintenance with the navi working, picked it up from them with the navi broken and you are going to pay to fix it?!?!?!

What's wrong with this picture?

I AGREE. Why didn't you keep your butt at the dealer when you saw your navi wasn't working. Since you left they can say your just trying to claim the dealer did it to get a free fix.

First trip to the dealer was on a Saturday- full tech crew not working. Brought back last Saturday when "ace" tech was working. Dealer is an hour from me-and I work during the day. Only day for me to get dealer work done is Saturday. Still waiting on follow up call from Service Manager (who was there on the first visit and knows of the problem).

You could be screwed now. I would have turned around immediately and pointed it out to them.

After first service, got about 3 miles away when I noticed navi not working. Turned around and went back. They took a quick look at it and said they didnt know what to do... hence come back next week when "ace" tech is working.
