'04 TL navi. What else will I need?

Hey guys. I should be picking up some used audio equipment off of craigslist sometime early next week.

What im getting-

1- (1) 12 inch JL audio W1 (idk if its v2...)
2- (1) 250/1 JL audio amp
3- A "professionally built" box for the sub

My question is, what else will I need to complete the install? I have a 2004 TL with navi and i want to keep everything as stock as possible. I want it so the subwoofer scroller, under the audio options tab, is what controls the new aftermarket subwoofer. So the original 8 inch cone in the back will be disconnected. What else will i need to complete the install? Even the little things.

Also, since I am having this installed at an audio shop, what would be a reasonable estimate in terms of money and labor hours?

Thanks!!!

Im going to a good shop. Ive been to them before. But i ask this because before i have always used an aftermarket headunit. This will be the first time that i have stayed with the factory headunit. I thought there would be something extra i will need to run the subwoofer with the amp off of the facrotry unit...

Oh and what is a LOC? haha

if its a very good audio shop, they will know what a LOC is and will install it.
A line out converter.

you take out your factory sub.
install the LOC in the factory sub's location. Then run RCA wires to the amp from the LOC. this will allow you to have control of the subwoofer through the factory head unit.

I appreciate your help. That seems like a simple install. I know i havent been proving myself with my audio lingo but do you think i could install myself? Or just be sure and stick with the shop??

No not really. I am starting to learn my way around things, but never anything near a complete install.

^in another thread, you asked a new member to search. you found the info for that member.

Read some of the audio installs on here.
there are some DIY but the pictures might have disappeared.
Look through them, and then if you have any further questions you can ask.

Get a Cap to keep the hard hits from dimming your headlights, internal lights, overall voltage, or depending on how much overall power, could kill the battery as you're driving.
