I don't think it is available. You might have to wait until 2017 models.

Although I have no interest in carplay, I do find it interesting that Honda is offering it in the 2016 civic, but not the RDX.

 

Ya i know, which is unreal. Civic is a beauty, I'm looking at that as a second car but I do want carplay and wouldn't mind taking out the Acura stuff for it. Needs to be some type of upgrade.

 

lol.. given how slow acura rolls out technology AFTER Honda, I'd expect this to show up in the next redesigned RDX... i.e. 2019 most likely.

it's too hard to tinker and change the junky Acura infotainment system.

 

No plan to roll it out in any 2017 models, it requires a change in audio system design.

I don't expect to see it, and 2017 RDX/ILX production starts soon, just some color revisions and that's it.

 

I think it's sad that cars like the civic and elantra (to name just a few) have the carplay and acura doesn't (as well as lots of other technology). It's like the rear vents added to the RDX in 2016. Our 2010 Toyota had those (as did many other mainstream sedans).
