Just picked up brand new base 2016 RDX with 2 miles on it, love everything about it. Little disappointed with cheap interior lighting though... No light in glove box, nothing near your feet, just a light above your head. It covers all cabin pretty well, but would like to have some more. Is it just a base model like this? Tech/Advanced packages any better? Started looking for some aftermarket but not much there, all there is just a better bulbs.

 

Congratulations on the new car. I don't think there is any other lighting available for tech / advanced models. If you feel they you need more light you can try upgrading into LED bulbs. Personally I feel you car is too new to think about any mods. It's a wonderful brand new car, enjoy it for what it is. Don't concentrate on the negatives. They are mostly minor. Once again ....... congratulations.
