Your Perspective on Mirror Tints?

Been interested in these for quite a while.
What are your guy's opinion on it?
Anyone have pics of it on their cars?

Here's a video from youtube:

That actually looks pretty cool! I'm pretty neutral towards it.

Dangerous and often illegal - mirror tint bothers cops often gives them probable cause to pull over any vehicle that has it. Besides, normal tint looks way more classy.

^ - Don't know about that unless they are illegal.

I don't think they look good at all

My $.02 I agree not on a TL...but to each your own. Not to hijack the post....but I have held back on any tint cause I'm worried that it scratches and will not past the test of time and look like crap later. Anyone have thing to add about that? I do like the look of tint.

I was hesitant to get my TL windows tinted. I researched the different types of window tint and wanted a tint that would go well with my car's color -polished metal metallic. I decided on ceramic tint - the Huper Optik brand. After deciding on the tint, I next researched tint installters. I found a place that did a great job (including installing moleskin to prevent the infamous tint scratches) and life time guarantee. I am glad that I tinted my windows as it gives my car a little more touch of class.

At first I thought you were talking about tinting the side mirrors. But, no on the mirror tint.

Super illegal. My friend had it on his jeep srt8 and was pulled over 4 times in one week!! Wouldnt recommend it to anyone, unless of course you have a crazy amount of money : )

Don't do it. It might be illegal in your state, as well.

When I saw this title I thought the original post had to be from years ago.

To each his own, but that's a very old "played out" look in NY. I remember seeing it years ago and think it looked cool on an older Altima.

In my opinion, it's a definite no!!
