Where is it built, how long for shipping?

My build date is March 31 April 1. It will not be messed up cause of April Fools so don't try to upset me. Somebody told me middle of the month is best and beginning and end sux, just trying to piss me off I think.

So back to my original point, yes I actually had one.
Where are these cars built and how long would shipping take to the east coast?

They are built in Ohio. Shiiping? no clue. But if a train does not derail it might be 2-3 weeks.

My salesguy told me they are built one day and then put on a truck with other destined for the same area the next. Mine was built a week ago and I was told on Tuesday that it was in Indiana. It was supposed to hit the dealership today and it will be prepped for pick up on Monday or Tuesday.

I thought this is the basic info everyone should know about. Marysville, OH, is where our 04TL built.

Congratulations... IMO, you should get it in the 2nd week of April.

Congrats, moreace! I wouldn't pay any attention to that beginning/end of month thing. Why would that matter?

Now, being built on a Monday or Friday, I can understand.

And by the way, if you ask certain trolls on this forum, your car was built MONTHS AGO and has been SECRETLY STOCKPILED in a factory somewhere to keep the price high. Yeah, and it was guarded by aliens, too.

They are not trolls, that is common knowledge. The aliens are guarding them at Area 51 and their leader is Elvis. You gotta keep in the loop Gator

:p :p :p

Elvis WOULD look cool in a TL, though, wouldn't he? A black A-Spec perhaps?

Ohio? Wow, I thought they were built in Japan. Learn somethin' new everyday. Ohio isn't all that far from me. Anyone know if they give tours of the plant where the TL is built?

Honda will be adding Accord and TL capacity at its East Liberty, OH plant, according to my local paper, the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Link

Sounds like soon there will be A LOT more TLs on the road.

Nice story, Bob.

The reason these plants can be so flexible is because they are non union. Simple as that. I loathe the day that Honda gives in to the UAW. Their quality will suffer markedly. I work in a big 3 auto plant, so I've seen the UAW's work firsthand.

And you shouldn't worry about what day your vehicle is produced. Most assembly plants work 20-24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. The cars made on Saturday are made the same as the ones on Monday or Wednesday.

Sorry if I got too far off topic.

Someone correct me if this is misinformation but as I understand it the engines are built and tested in Japan but the reat of the car is assembled here.
