I'm going to clear my headlights. I already done a shit load of mods to my baby, too much to list, but the best ones are the TL-S tails, deck lid spoiler, side mirrors and side blinkers, blue illuminated door sills, carbon fiber steering wheel and trim, and blue interior lighting, to include all four foot wells. The biggest mod that I want to do is an '07 CD changer to '05 conversion. I trying to find out if it can be done. I really hope so because I would love to be able to play MP3 discs.

A-Spec Body Kit and TL-S spoiler. Installed this weekend.

Any other possible mods for the year would be a Comptech RSB and thats about it.

Next year, rims and suspension.

Hoping to maybe do the A-Spec suspension and A-Spec wheels (not the body kit...not my style).

My plan is to keep my TL stock and continue saving up for a down payment on a house

When it's time to save up money to buy your first house, suddenly 19-inch rims and stainless steel exhausts don't seem nearly as important as they used to.

I agree with the above post, BUT a SC on the car would be nice!

I'm gonna get wheels(RonJon Legends) and possibly suspension. Other than that I'll be done for awhile.

I completely agree. Before buying my house, I was living with relatives, never eating out (still rarely do), and kept driving the same klunker I had since college.

Now, I simply have a budget per month for spending on acura goodies

Only mature insomuch as I'm driving a TL but renting an apartment. In hindsight (which is always 20/20) I probably should have stuck with my beater for another year or so - I could have saved money a lot faster. But oh well... I'm young enough that it isn't a huge deal.

I wish I could live with relatives, but I have none where I live. I live it up pretty well(eat out once a week, new shoes, new clothes, little of this, little of that) but I'm avoiding big-ticket purchases like plasma TVs and new computers. I should have waited on the sport-lux car. But again, I'm young enough that it's not a huge deal. Plus I REALLY like my TL. I got it to impress chicks and it works pretty well. But somewhere along the line I decided that the kind of girl I want to attract would be a lot more impressed if I owned my own house than if my whip had 20s

One thing with your TL it will show good credit for when you finally get to purchase your home.

You're lucky you don't live in Cali...and I'm assuming you're not looking to buy here. If so, I wish you luck. Fortunately I was able to buy a couple years ago. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, so I'm especially proud that I was able to buy here. Now I'm one of very few TL drivers around, and I think just about the only WDP/ebony in the area.

This year, which will pretty much be my first year of owning (bought in late October), I plan to finish up my grill/bumper modification, which will be hotter than hot -- stay tuned for pics -- and possibly get TL-S tails. I'm not going to be doing anything as far as performance is concerned, and I'm talking about for the entire life of the car. I didn't buy my TL to race; I bought it to have a nice car that looks sweet and performs well for when I need to get on the freeway or pass a slow-moving car with ease. I MAY get some larger rims, but I probably won't squeeze that in this year. Thanks to the California mortgage for that one!
