What is the one thing you like the best about your TL? Is it the look? a certain driving experience? A particular part or mod? If you could name only one, what would it be?

why do you have to bring up something negative on a thread that asks what you like about your car??
you dont know rattles until you've ridden in my old 1983 chevy camaro and tried to drive over 70.

then,
the District Service Mgr and Dealer Service Mgr. tell me "these are normal, inherent characteristics of the vehicle"
After owning 5 Honda products and referring 6 family & friends to buy Honda, this is the end of the line for me.

Keep it positive please......
Hard to pick ONE thing.
I like the driving dynamics I get with the A-Spec suspension. Much better than stock, and with sticky tires it's even better. Makes the car fun to drive with excellent interior comfort.
NO rattles at over 40k miles for me, BTW.

wow you said only name one:...so I have to eliminate how much I like walking to the car and looking at it, I have to eliminate the sound system, I have to eliminate the fact that it makes you feel spoiled...so I'd have to say driving it..( next time don't just ask for one thing because I also had to take off the list "working on it/ modding" and the fact that I may be one of the few that has zero rattles)

Can't pick just one thing. Too much to love. What comes to mind right now are the Brembos. Especially when it is "pissing" rain. All previous cars suffered a noticeable delay when really wet. With the Brembos it is just like they are dry. Perhaps they shed water off the disk better or perhaps the OE wheels let less water in. Either way having immediate and great braking in the extremely wet is something to love. In the dry, well us 6 MT dudes know to be carefull about banging our heads on the wheel if we brake to hard

I love how good I look when driving it......I feel like I have the biggest balls in the world. When I am in my car models want to screw me. also I enjoy the stereo.
50k and no rattles for me other than the rear deck when I first bought it but the dealer fixed it for me.

My favorite thing is the way I smile every time I walk toward it to go for a ride.....definitely an outstanding and distinctive appearing car!

Although I like the body style, I got to vote for the drivetrain.
The engine and transmission (6mt) are smooth and slick, a lot of power
and still good mpg ratings.
There are plenty of cars with the same size (or bigger) motors that make less
power, and get worse economy.

Get off your ass and fix em or take it to the dealer......not to flame this message is meant for everyone. If it rattles, bitching on the internet wont fix it.

i like that i seldomly feel that i am pushing the car when accelarating... i have ample power, lots of features (seat warmers in Canada are the shi+), the bose sound system is great, the dash is well laid out, etc... and that i didnt break the bank.. great value i say.

9k, more rattles than anything else I've owned, by far.
Love the bluetooth! FOR SURE!
Styling aint too bad either!
By the way, dont call this car 31k, lol, my aspec was near 40 with tax! (Of course I did the aspec myself afterwards)

You can take a ride in my 67, the only thing I hear is the exhaust. You can come look at my Acura as well and see if you can find where the rattles are coming from. The dealer doesnt know, I've had the damn thing apart twice, they seem to be hidden from everyone. I am sorry that your sense of humor isnt included in this thread. I thought the rattles as standard equipment was fucking hilarious, putting a smile on the face of probably a lot of members instead of just bitching about them.

No, the TL was designed in the United States by Americans, for Americans. The only things Japanese about the car are the headquarters of the corporation that built it, and the transmission. Have to correct you here. And I do enjoy my rattle-free car, thanks for the sentiment!

Everything except for the rattles and city MPG.
Since others here bought up rattles, it should also be noted that they're the one issue that 3G TL owners like to complain about most to Acura service departments and in the Cons portion of 'Post Your Ownership Experience' at ConsumerReports.org. In fact, an employee in the service department at Acura of Manhattan recently told me that maintainance aside, they spend more time fixing 3G TL rattles than any other type of 3G TL repair!
