prob not... considered wear n tear

but could pull the safety issue as airbags will not deploy if the sensor doesnt detect weight as well

I doubt they are covered.
One sensor ? Both?
Even if both they are just under $400 at full list (which the dealer probably charges) Is it really 4+ hours to put them in? Looks pretty straight forward from the diagram. If you DIY it you could end up out $300 and still have a problem. Any other dealers you can get another opinion from ?

Can I ask you why this sensors went bad? Are they even tried to calibrate those sensors? Its hard to believe it just went bad. There are weight sensors, opds and module involved. Which one is bad? or all of them? I would tried airbag specialist for this w/ cheaper price or your insurance should cover if you have mechanical premium/

i have no idea why the sensor went bad. and i have no cluse what they did to find that the sensor is bad. both of them are bad( thats what they told me. air bag specialist I thing its time to google now

here is the copy of the inspection they have done. Just one more thing do they have to check if teh cd player is working or not in the inspection or not and dont have have to check all the sensor too, because i have to replace the Automatic switch selector.

Seems to need a lot of repairs at 94000KM, 58000 miles.
2 Weight sensors
Top motor mount
Front stabilizer bar links
Cracked wheel
Rear sway bar bushings

Was this car just purchased, and were the lights on at that time?
Did you run a Car Fax on the car, if it's even applicable in Canada?
Was this a CPO car that you just purchased?

Seems odd that both are on, as occasionally a module, sensor, or wiring could go bad in one system, but both?
Sure airbags are in the car?

I guess my question is to how anyone would purchase the car in the condition that it's in, or even the question how a reputable dealer would ever put the car on the lot in that condition. I guess they hoped that someone would purchase the car with all the problems and then they could wash their hands, but it's a done deal, so it will be a decision you'll need to make. Since the repairs are far more than the $400, do you want to put that into the car or look for another? If you return the car, will you get ALL your money back, including any taxes, title transfer costs, etc? Lot of problems for a 58,000 mile vehicle.

i am assuming you just bought this car? if so, how come dealer won't fix this for free? But if you buy for a long time , how can you return it?

If I buy this car recently and have this much problems i would return it because dealership did not inspect this car. Anyways, i dont know when this car purchased.
