Also, if you see this post, how is the front bumper holding up?

Actually, the front bumper is no more. ... There was an aluminum folding chair on the highway that someone in front of me just ran over and I couldn't get out of the way in time. It broke the front bumper mounts on the right side and cracked the bottom half of the front opening. I'm glad I kept the original bumber, cuz as soon as I got home, I took it off and put the old one back on. I threw the VS front bumper out for large trash pick up... Its too bad really... I feel like I just wasted $2000...

Oh well... You live and learn. I will definately never do a fiberglass kit again. Hope yours turns out differently ACCURATEin.

I really want someone to come out with front lip alternatives. I don't want a whole elaborate front bumper, just something similar to the aspec front lip (just not exactly like it).

Oh, and brigsaz, I really like the wheels!

I saw RONJON came out with a lip kit for the 07 TL-S...i wonder how difficult it would be to modify it for the 04-06 TL models......

That's extremely unfortunate. I can almost feel your pain. Hopefully this bumper will arrive in tact and once its on the car it will remain in tact. I guess the polyblend isn't as flexible as I originally thought.

Well atleast we have pictures of your car with the kit for memories. Sorry to hear about the mishap.

There are some on eBay. A member named jhood bought one for his car, but only posted one pic taken with a camera phone...since he had a black car, it was really hard to see the lines of the lip. Anyway, he got it on eBay, so search on there...someone found the ad for it and linked it in his thread...I think the thread was in the Photo subforum, so you can search there, too.

I asked him that question and Ron said that I would have to swap out the bumper for the 07 Type-s bumper or mold the kit in to my original bumper and he said that that would cost alot of money. I wish we had a lip kit for the 04-06 TL's

Thx man. This was my first body kit, so of course my expectations are going to be very high in regards to fit, durability, and finish. The fit was soso.. seemed like it was being stressed at the mounting points. The durability was a big thumbs down. The finish was good... The painter was able to get very close to the factory color.

So I still have the side skirts and rear lip on the car, although I need to take them off and make some adjustments; the side skirts are starting to rub on the front doors when you open and close them, and the rear skirt just doesnt fit very well at all. I need to see where its catching and see if I can get it to fit better. I will probably order an Aspec front lip and put it on to balance out the look of the car. No more body kits for me on this car unless I run into a nice chunk a change anytime soon.....

Oh well.... At least I still have my exhaust, wheels, intake, etc.
