I plan to be proactive and change my battery which will be two years old(oem) at the end of this winter season. Most people think its the winter thats hard on batteries, but in actuality its hot weather that wears down a battery. I have an awful lot of starts and turnoffs then normal, and refuse to wait until the battery goes bad on me. Its not worth it to me.
Question I have, is that when battery cables are disconnected will I lose all my settings in my tl? Will it affect the navigation settings as well, and what about the bluetooth coordination with my cellphone? Radio presets? Two position memeory resets? And eveything else.?
I would hate to go through all this again.

I've had my battery disconnected for several hours and when it was reconnected, I still had all of my settings. The seat settings, the radio presets, all the navi settings, etc. You do need to have the navi and radio codes because you will have to enter those.
