...that there was only 3000 manual tl's made..I was at the dealers and my plan was to get a 6sp but they didn't have none and the salesman said there was only 3000 made world wide.. so I settle for an auto..im still please but jus curious if that statement is true..does ne1 kno?..btw he had a 6sp tls himself..he said he would of sold it to me but its against the dealers policy...I told him to holla when he's off but he refused..lol..but jus wonderin because I don't believe it ..

 

Don't know the exact number, but it's no where near as low as only 3000 worldwide.

Don't believe car salesmen, they will say anything to make you feel good enough about the car to buy it on the spot.

 

3000 per year maybe. That'd be about 5% of production.

 

5% of production = 60,000 TL's a year. Sounds plausible per model year, but not for all 5 years of production.

 

Yea bro that salesman is full of it. They will say anything to get you in a car that day. Sorry to hear they treated you that way.

If only 3000 6MT's were made from 04-08 they would be collector cars already!

I thought so didn't make to much sense to me..but I still satisfied wit the auto...rather have a 6sp but f' it I gotta TL...thanks for the feed back..

same here i bought my car at rallye acura, going to the dealership i already knew what i was lookin for black 6spd tl-s, spoke to a sales man said he didnt have any buy would not be a problem to find one, long story short it took weeks for any respone from them.... Finally they call and give me bad news....Sir we cant find any MT type s's any where.....and they have 3 black ones on the lot waiting for a new owner...i laughed and say no thanks..the salesman begin to say "i came in on my off days callin dealerships willing to trade cars maybe, and after all that hard work your canceling the deal" i said yup goodbye......



Maybe 5 mins later i get a call from them THEY FOUND ONE all of a sudden right here at a dealership in brooklyn BTW they traded a fully loaded mdx for my tl...
