Transmission Fluid Loss?

just recently got my oil change done saturday at a HONDA dealership and they told me i had a transmission fluid loss. So i went home and checked the fluid level and it was in between the two marks, so thats fine. A couple days later i checked again and it was below the the second mark... so i was like WTF i guess they weren't joking. So i got an appointment wednesday to see whats up at the ACURA dealership. And yes i did run my car for a couple of minutes let it cool down and was on a flat surface and then checked it if your wondering. This is kind of strange for a near new car. BTW has this happened to anyone else on here? Is this covered under warranty? Any replies would be nice.

first thing you need to do is read the owner book for the correct procedure
On my gen2, you have to drive on freeway at cruise speed 15 minutes, then stop and shut off engine, immediatly check trans fluid level

Make sure you do it the book way- the fluid level does rise with heat in trans

If you have an actual leak- get to the dealer asap

Don't you check it while the engine is running?

so i took my car to the dealership and they said they found a leak on a sealing bolt for the top/back test port( whereever the hell that's at?) So they tightened the bolt up and checked again and everything seemed to be fine. What's wierding me out is what they told me, that this bolt loosens overtime when i'm in 3rd or 4th traveling at speeds over 40 mph. So that makes me paranoid cause i drive on the highway everyday to work. While I was there i also got my power steering hose replaced free of charge, which ACURA did recall for. So as long as i have my car i'm gonna keep checking my tranny fluid from time to time to see if it's still doing it.

sounds like BS to me. my guess is either the honda dealership decided to loosen it so it would drip and cause a leak, thus making them money.

If a certain bolt comes loose over time-
install it with threadlocker glue- holds things tight until you want it loosened

Lots of stuff on the motorcycle is held on with threadlock-
