About an hour ago I was on my way home with my girl in the passenger seat and we saw a friend who has an srt-4. He was parked on a side street with his lights on and I turned around to say whats up. He asked if I wanted to race him and my girl said hell yea. We got on the pike and we were both goin around 15-20 mph and he honked three times and we went. From the start I pulled about 1 car length on him and pulled very little on him. He shut it down at 80mph and I was about 2 car lengths on him. He has a BOV and he said he turned the boost up to 24psi. Well I won and that is what matters to me.

To be fair to the SRT-4, they have no boost at 20 mph. My friend Justin lost to me when we went from 20. But when we went from 40 (full boost), the results were the opposite. So it really depends on how fast the turbo is spooling on the SRT-4.

 

againstallodds, I pretty much have all the same mods as you except for the pro cats, and I've been blown away by an srt-4. It didnt sound stock, but not heavily modded. Probably just exhaust, intake and bov. Do those pro-cats do that much?

Nice kill! I have been dying to line up against my buddy who is afraid I think of racing me. he just will not race me. he has Intake, up pipe, exhaust (turbo back) and BOV. I installed all the mods and I have to tell you that the car feels real quick. honestly I dont know what the out come would be but I am dying to race him. He said after he does the stage 1 computer he will race me. he just doesnt want to lose to a luxury sedan. i think when he gets the computer he will beat me. they can run in the 12's with the comp. upgrade!

No thats not my friend. I know who that is and I hate that kid. I take him with nor problem. His car is not fast! that kid is a prick you should run him off the road. He drives up my street at like 100mph and almost hits my little cousin crossing the street.

we raced from a dig(on Hamburg and church lane rd., next to the BK) 1st and 2nd gear I had a slight lead on him, his third gear as you may know is very strong he managed to reel me in a little. By 80 when I shut it down cause of traffic he had about half a car lead

 

So you guys were like dead even huh!

 

Yeah, it was pretty close. I thought I had a victory once I had a nice little puill on him initially, but damn the third gear on that car is strong, not to mention the fact that I have a 4AT which definitly hampers the VQ35.

 

Yeah they have a strong 3rd. I will ask my buddy in his SRT4 as well to take a trip with us!
