TL seating comfort

just asking for your thoughts on the drivers seat in an 06 or 07 TL.

I have an 03 CL with 210k miles - the seat is hard and the man. lumbar does nothing. after an hour or so - it hurts. are the TL seats designed better?
i like the power lumbar on the TL.
another thing, the Cl does not have a true dead pedal - how do you guys like the foot rest in the TL?

I read that the 07 (type s) had new design seats - cant find that anywhere now.

Its nice. Have you tried washing and conditioning the leather? Thtas the problem with leather interior if you don't keep up with it it will feel like shit and eventually fade and tear. My seats just fine my only complaint is that whenever I am on the road course the seat isnt as supportive as I would like it but for road trips makes you want to go to sleep.

IMHO, they are hard and not comfortable when on a long trip. I've said it before, our '89 RX7 Turbo seats are more comfortable as are the 2008 knock around vehicle (Kia Optima in Katzkin leather).

Here's some reading:

Depends on person I havent had many issues. All my friends have liked the ride on my car. I condition my leather like hell with Lexol when so its soft.

I have found the seats in my 06 to be very comfortable. I drove from ca to az and was not uncomfortable at any point... I have friends with an 07type s and the seats are not all that different comfort wise, just a little firmer and the side bolsters are larger and a little tighter..

It's the same. Uncomfortable on trips longer than two hours. Lumbar does nothing. Very hard seats.

did a like 16 hr drive from LA to P Town non stop. Didn't get fatigue, the seats were pretty comfy. Of course driving at night is very hard and tiring. But i think TL seats are very nice, especially the rears, they are very soft.

The seats are pretty comfortable but my 2000 3.2TL seats were much better. Same goes for the 2G RL's

Yeah, the seats are very comfortable and fit just about anyone perfectly. Want an uncomfortable seat? Try sitting a 2008+ Mercedes C class. Whenever I drive my moms car, it feels like I'm sitting in a kitchen table chair.

on longer trips it's not so comfortable to me. We drive to Vegas 1-2 times per year and it's not the best, but the car drives so well I almost forget about my lack of comfort.
