With all these guys TLers mod their TL to a TL-S... I'm sure we can get more than 40 TLers who might be interested in TL-S....

Well that would require a new mold.. they wont do that unless you order like 20,000... I asked that too.. except aspec kit..

lol they should just make them with swappable parts so we can put type S bumpers and stuff and different wheels. Make a ron jon kit and Aspec kit. Oh man that would be so awesome haha make it radio controlled too so we can drive it around.

 

I have been notified of this thread by a member who wishes to complete the GB. Can I get a list of people who are actually interested in purchasing this product if it was around $90-$100? Please only put your name on the list if you think you will purchase the model so I can gauge if this is feasible. I don't mind sitting on a few of the models but I don't want to sit on 50 of these units.

 

Id be in again if you can get it in WDP!! They told me I would have to buy a bunch just to get that color made. If you can get WDP I am in again and my Silver one will be for sale! =)

Damn figures I see this thread now after I already bought the silver model lol. I also bought the smaller 2009 Tl because I found that first. If we can get an assortment of different colors I would be in for another one in red to match my car.

I was in correspondence with the makers of the TL 1:18 model, but they were not going to make any more versions of the TL. UNLESS someone wanted to shell out some BIG BUCKS!! I am talking in the 50-60k range. Only version out there in 1:18 scale is the China version of the TL which is very close to the base 07-08 TL in the US..
