Hello ladies and gentlemen, what do you guys think will look better Tinted Tails or Depo Type-S Tails?

On Anthricate, definately Depo TL-S because the chromed trim areas inside the taillight are a SLIGHT bit darker than OEM and will flow with your paint really well. Tinting just doesnt fit with AM for some reason IMHO.

tinting the tails or windows?

If its the windows, you have to get those done first. That is usually the first thing I do to any car.

Yea I was too lazy to read your first post when I posted that.

I'd go with tl-s tails, never been a fan of tinted or blacked out tails for some reason.

I have tinted tails personally, but now Im pretty sure I'll be getting a set of Depo Type-S tails and tinting them...

Anthracite and type S tails were made for each other. I think they look better on anthracite than any other color and I am not just saying that because I have an anthracite TL.

I have tinted tails and lately its been giving me problems with the po po.. Ill be on the depo list.. How do u guys feel the depo type s will look on the desert mist?? im still considering bc its like a greyish/black color..

Mine are OEM, but there is not much of a difference. I like the color of the depo better because I think the inside trim is slightly darker. I just got OEM because I got them at cost from the dealer.

anyone know what dealer cost is on the type s? i've seen them on ebay for about 235 shipped. Thank you...I am picky about keeping it OEM and quality control and stuff.

Has anyone considered doing anything clever with the inside of the 04-06 tails? The shape is the same inside...it's just all red. Like what is done with the headlights...bake...then pry open. Hmmm...

Def type-s tails! I have an Anthracite Metallic TL as well and I'm going to buy the type-s tails becuase they will match so well. The tint you put over the tails looks kind of cheap, in my opinion...

Selim, you need the type-s tails, I have them on my car too. I have the depo ones cuz I got a killer deal on them awhile back. You need the type-s rear sidemarkers too to complete the look!

^ nah, don't care too much about the side markers...but I ordered DEPO yesterday, can't for it to ship in. I am gonna take a whole day off and install my A-spec, Door Visors, Moon Roof Visors, and Tail Lights oh wait and Lip Spoiler
