These are some dumb questions but who all here has bought from theretrofitsource and how long did it take to get to you?

I placed an order on the 11th and still haven't gotten an email from them about being shipped?

 

I've read over at HIDP they were having server issues of some sort with their new website transition. I'll try and find the thread. I'd call and talk to Matt or email him. You're not the only one who's waiting for items.

I have had great experience purchasing from them, but that was years ago so obviously things can change in that timeframe. I would have been on the phone several days ago trying to get information on whats going on with your purchase. 10 days after purchase and not a single email or shipping info? Yeah I would be a little upset. I would call them tomorrow.

 

Yeah I sent an email about 5 days later and then responded saying they can't seem to find the order number . I replied back with my info and order number so I hope they can sort this out.

@JTS how long did it take for you to receive the shipped confirmation and then the actual package?

 

I placed an order 12/29/13, and my order shipped the next day (despite them having to close 12/30 through 01/05 for renovations). My order arrived 01/02, and I couldn't be happier with their quick service!

You may have just gotten lost in their stack of emails and orders, as I know they've been expanding for 2014. They're a great company though, so I'm sure they didn't mean to overlook you!

 

Like stated above, TRS just recently launched a new website and are having difficulties all around. Log in accounts are being hard to access, glitches and so on..

One thing also, with the abundances amount of orders, they just recently had recalls on their Morimoto "SS" ballast. So customers are in the process with TRS with getting replacements and so their emails are wayyy backed up.

Patience would be best I suppose. They are a good company to deal with but they just got a lot going on apparently.

Don't worry they have great customer service. Im in the same boat as you, I've placed an order from them on the 12th and havent gotten a tracking/shipping confirmation yet. Although I ordered an item they were having issues with so I gotta wait for them to handle their business to fix the issue. Depending on what was ordered/whats in stock also may delay shipping. They are stationed in Atlanta, GA and I see you are in OR so it will be a few days depending on what shipping method you chose.

edit*** my order has been on hold for almost a week now and just a few minutes ago I logged in to see that its in the "processing" stage so you may end up getting some news soon. Just check back on their site.

Like I said its been years since I last ordered, but it was quick like within a day or two at most. Dont bother with the emails, just call them!

 

Bought over 10k of stuff from them over the years. Zero issues

 

Update to op. My order shipped today so check your order online or call them.

 

Another vouch for trs here, I've bought from them 3 seperate times and have always had my orders in quickly.

 

I placed a few orders, everything came in 2-3 days.

 

Ordered Osram CBIs on 1/13/14 and received them 1/17/14

 

Their customer service has always been great when I've dealt with them

 

Update: got an email saying they were waiting for the ballast which should come tomorrow so hopefully they will send out, Thanks everyone for the help
