Another HID headlight question / issue (harness types)

Hello all. I know there are a lot of threads on this, and trust me I searched a ton, but I have some real specific questions that I couldnt find answers to. Thanks in advance!!

One headlight took a dump last week. I swapped bulbs from one side to the other, and its still out so its def an ignitor or ballast issue.

I wouldnt really mind going with an aftermarket kit, but Im trying to avoid a big project right now and really wanted a direct replacement (plug and play)

The retrofitsource.com has stock replacement mitsu ballasts for $200 (pair).
Mitsubishi Gen 4 Ballasts

Question 1:
Now these are apparently Gen 4 ballasts and the 04 TSX has a gen 2 ballast stock. Does anyone know if THIS ballast (the gen 4) is plug and play and a direct swap with the Gen 2 ballasts the TSX comes with stock? The site says its a 9006 male connection, but I cant seem to find anywhere if the stock Acura harness is a 9006 female connector.

Question 2:
If I went with a full aftermarket set up from them as shown here: D2S: Morimoto Elite HID System - HID Systems from The Retrofit Source Inc
does anyone know which harness type I would select? Any any of the harnesses plup and play with my car or would splicing be required (for either option...?)

Thanks again in advance.

And to add, I did email them and they gave me a pretty general answer of "you may have to splice into your stock harness"
