Taillights

Just a quick note for OP - swapping the taillights does involve removing the rear bumper as well; it's not hard and what I would consider an essential skill for any prospective DIY'er.
Yeah the one way I'd consider putting the 07-08 tails on my WDP would be if I could tint the white part. I think it is too bright. Love the Indiana plate and corn in the background. That's really how it is.
Sorry to threadjack, OP. 07-08 base tails look really nice though!

Nope not tinted. They're Depo 07-08 base tails and they tend to look a tad darker than the OEM ones, which I too like. I've thought about getting a few strips of really really light tint just to make it a little darker.
Haha, yes. Stereotypical Indiana for ya! Where I live is just down the road from cornfields, yet downtown Indy is only 15 minutes away.

They are a direct swap.
You don't necessarily have to remove the whole bumper. Search the 3G Garage for the DIYs on tail lights.
You will have to swap the LED board to the new lights. Be careful while doing this---if it is not fitting perfectly, back off and try it again. New ones are expensive.
Buy a new set of washers or grommets or whatever the rubber seals are called. They are cheap and good insurance against fogging.
