Taillight tint film: reliability
Hi, first thread in a long time... just wondering how people's taillight film holds up. Im in so cal so the weather is pretty stable.
Also, my TL is an 07, so has anyone like cut out slits/found somewhere that has the two white parts showing? I only want the tint to cover the red parts.
thanks in advance erbody!

I was going to tint my tails as well and was thinking of cutting around the white part. It should look really nice. Ignore the "Rice Patrol" on this forum LOL...tinted taillights rice? What about blue rims and purple lugnuts?

Instead of messing with tint film, why don't you try some Nightshade spray tint? You can remove it with paint thinner . You can just spray a few coats on your tail lights, let them dry, then tape up the areas where you wish to keep them tinted, put paint thinner on a towel and wipe away the spray tint from the areas where you don't want it tinted.

I bought the ones from "rockblockers" 5 years ago. I have the lighter version on the tails and the rear sidemarkers. It is a thicker material than the typical EBay stuff. Still holding up perfectly like new. I never updated the tail lights as many have suggested. I am perhaps in the minority that actually like the 04-06 tail light design, just tinted over them just as they are.
