Swapping Interior Lights to RED ('07 TL Type-S)

Hi I am trying to find out where I can pickup lights or LEDs to replace all the interior light on my TL Type-S. I would like to make the rest of the light match the dash as well as RED is the best color for seeing in the night.

If anyone has any ideas let me know.

I know all the lights are the 194s just not sure where to get them in RED.

Some forum members have used these sites:
http://autolumination.com/
http://www.superbrightleds.com/
http://tec-toyz.com/

As for which led's everyone prefers, I have no idea.

I here ya. The questions should be: how do you change the Type S red LED's to blue.

If you do all the interior lights in red you won't be able to see jack. Plus it will look real tacky. I've seen it done on a civic 2-door (also has the red s-typish theme). Looks like you're entering "the car from hell". Just doesn't belong on this grade of car. I'd say stick to white LEDs, looks much more classy.

But hey if it still suits you they're out there. I'd deal with tec-toyz if I was you. LIfetime warranty on bulbs, can't beat that!

My A spec lights are a mixture of blue (dash) white and green (doors),

my type S are ALL red and remind me of an Audi,

I too was a little sceptical at first but now when I get back into my A spec it feels cold and looks unmatched.

The thing I hate about the non type-s is the green control lighting. If it wasn't my fathers car I would have blue LEDs back there, not condom covered incandecent bulbs that end up looking like those of our van.

We are getting an MDX and those interior lights are very nice. The buttons are a very cold white, almost like the HIDs.
