Stubborn Stickers

I am trying to get the dealer name sticker off the back of my car. I've tried picking at the letter, managed to get two off. The others are stuck on good!
I tried a hair dyer and that didn't help at all. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Goo Gone also works wonders (similar to goof off)

hair dryer, letting the car bake in the sun for a little bit, persistence....get the sticker off first. worry about the adhesive residue later (this is the easy part). careful to scratch the paint in your efforts to "pick" off the remaining letters. hope the dealer name is short.

Googone and plastic razor blade worked well for me. After, I went over the area with some lite rubbing compound and wax.

Heat and a razor blade or X-Acto knife to get it started. My family owns a graphics company and I have removed hundreds of new and old vinyl decals/stickers so I know your pain 10-fold. Get it as hot as you possibly can (behaves more elastically and minimizes tearing) and pull the opposite way the sticker is peeling at a 45 degree angle from the surface (lifts the warm glue instead of leaving it behind). Pulling in the same direction as its peeling results in the opposite. Good luck!

Thanks for all the input. I'll try the hair dryer again.
