Sure they look good. I would really suggest getting the color matched ones.

Yup the painted splash gaurds actually really make the car look nice. ALmost gives it a clean body kit type look. I added the OEM painted splash gaurds to my 07 KBP Type S and I love them. THey also help keep the side of the car cleaner (road grime wont fly up on stick to the side) and they also will save you a few rocker panel rock chips.

ECUpirate025 and Steven Bell - did you guys buy those splash guards color matched from the factory or was that a custom job? I have the generic unpainted black plastic ones on my '04 AM and I was thinking about painting them myself after visiting www.paintscratch.com to get some paint. I was just worried with how well the paint will hold up in such a high-impact area?

Jive, I bought mine from the dealership when I purchased the car. If you do paint yours, they should be OK if the paint from PaintScratch.com is for cars.

Sorry this is the best picture i have right know showing the stock splash guards.
Just to give you an idea of what some cars look like with them on.
I think TL's look much better with the guards than w/out.

Got ya, thanks for the response. Paintscratch.com does indeed sell factory matched paint for cars in multiple size mediums including a 12.5 oz spray can. Since I would be painting via this method as opposed to professionally done, my only concern is how well the paint will hold up while enduring driving conditions. I think this is a project I will take on after the winter season is over as the sand/salt debris could cause some premature chips in my new mod

I have an '06 AM TL too. I added the unpainted guards to mine soon after I purchased the car. I think they look great. In fact, I think all Honda vehcile look better with splash guards.

Luckily, in my case the black plastic matches black paint!

I hear you man, but the price saving may justify me to do it myself. I'm gonna run to a local body shop soon to see what they will charge for the splash guards and also the rear and front "satin" silver trim (above license plate and on hood/grill) which I was also debating tackling myself. P.S. nice wheels and tires lol
As far as professional painting...Shouldn't be that much...I suspect that the savings may be negligible once you factor in paint, labour and having a professioanl do it, but post pix either way when you're done!
Unless you have a black car, get them colour matched...looks way better!
