A-Spec without spoiler?

I'm having an A-Spec kit put on my SSM TL in about five days. I'm considering asking the dealer not to install the deck spoiler.
I really like the lines of the TL and am adding the A-Spec primarily for performance reasons. (Please lets not go into whether the A-Spec is overpriced or not).

I'm 49 years old and will use the TL primarily as a family sedan and occasionally for clients. I think the spoiler adds too much to the back end and makes me look as though I'm going through some mid-life crisis.

Any opinions? No... not about my mid-life issues, but about the look of the car without the spoiler.

I think it's a good idea, if you do go with one, maybe the lip spoiler will look good.

I agree with Norse...the decklid is understated and does not disturb the simple, striking lines of the car

VTEC=happiness,

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I like it, the deck lip spoiler would look great!

the lip spoiler is very subtle. the bodykit and decklid spoiler make this car look 10X better imo. after 3-4 months of driving this baby, i still find myself turning around and checking out how great the car looks, when i'm walking away from it.

YEAH!!! Good call..another convert. Every time I see a TL on the street w/o it, it looks a bit naked to me . Be wary of what the dealer want to charge....I bought online for $340 including shipping from acuraparts247.com and installed for $40.
