slightly amusing anecdote
Well I pull up to the supermarket front to retrieve my spouse and her groceries.
Another 05 tl, black on black was right in front of me doing the same.
I see an older gentlman, and a younger lady doing the same. I assumed the car belonged to the lady(maybee late thirties)
I asked her if she liked the car, and she said it was her dads. I spoked with the older gentleman, and he said it was his and the best car he ever owned. He traded in a lincoln for the tl, because he "needed a car that had some balls"
We talked for about fifteen minutes. He was having trouble connecting his v710 and since I have not purchased my bluetooth yet, I told him to got to dealer. My dealer told me when I get mine to come back and they will program it.
So while we were talking his daughter was whining that she wanted the radio turned on. Well, he started to give her the keys and then stopped, saying "he doesnt want her or anyone else starting his car". Our ice creams were melting and we parted. I gave him the website and hope he sees this.
Turns out he is 68 years old and loves his tl"with balls"
Thanks

Did you really think it is something we will outgrow? Of course you didn't.
Here's hoping all of us can be so young at 68 to still want "cars with balls"
And truthfully was it really his daughter ? (Nudge Nudge, Wink, Wink say no more)

^my friends grandfather(70s) Married someone in their early 40s. I would definatly trade a lincoln for a TL, but then again I am younger, and it also depends on the lincoln, but of equivalent value, in a second. I assume we will see him here eventually, since there are some odd 58k members(on the whole forum).
well my mom works at american honda and we see a butt load of them everyday, 98% of the WDP 3G TL drivers were seniors 60+ and almost every NBP are under 40....weird i guess but i wanted a WDP but i'm only fifteen.....am i old?!?!?!
